Jeffrey Seppala
Bass Baritone

Jeffrey Seppala is a versatile singer who has been lauded for his mellifluous voice and moving characterizations.  He regularly performs operatic, musical theatre and concert repertoire around the country and overseas. Recent role credits include Banco in Macbeth, Soldier in All is Calm, Colonel in The Falling and the Rising, Frère Laurent in Roméo et Juliette, Don Magnifico and Alidoro in La Cenerentola, Il Conte and Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, Baron Zeta in Merry Widow, Zuniga in Carmen, Don Basilio in Barber of Seville, Mr. Webb in Our Town, Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham in Pride and Prejudice, and the title roles in Falstaff and Don Giovanni. Notable solo concert appearances include Haydn’s Creation, Bach’s Magnificat and Mass in B Minor, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, and Duruflé’s Requiem. Before moving to Boise, he taught at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Truman State University.  He serves as an Associate Professor of Voice and the Director of Opera and Musical Theatre at Boise State University.
