Described as "Vocally Heroic" (Arts Knoxville) Tenor, Patrick Starke is thrilled to return to Opera Idaho where he will be singing the Role of Anthony in this production of Sweeney Todd. Recent roles include; Prologue/Peter Quint in Britten's The Turn of the Screw (Opera Roanoke), Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance (Central City Opera), Le Prince Charmant in Viardot’s Cendrillon (Knoxville Opera), Don José in Le Tragédie de Carmen (Boston Opera Collaborative), Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Opera Idaho), Alfredo (cover) in Verdi's La Traviata, Don José in Bizet's Carmen (Janiec Opera Company), Father Grenville (cover) in Heggie's Dead Man Walking, Camille (cover) and Saint Brioche in Léhar's The Merry Widow (Opera Idaho). 

As an avid soloist, Patrick can frequently be heard on the concert stage. He has recently performed as the tenor soloist in Bach's Mass in B Minor with the Boise Baroque Orchestra and Critical Mass Vocal Artists, Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde with Cøda Ensemble, and Orff’s Carmina Burana with Symphony Pro Musica.

Patrick has previously worked with Central City Opera as an Apprentice Artist, Cedar Rapids Opera as a Smith Young Artist, and Opera Idaho as an Emerging Artist. He earned a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee College and a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance and Music Education from Ithaca College.
