Anders Tobiason  [Pâris] made his Opera Idaho debut as prison guard #2 in Dead Man Walking, 2022. Recent performances include the chorus and Lillas Pastia in Opera Idaho’s Carmen as well as Bartolo in Gemma Arts production of Le nozze di Figaro. Anders was a member of the Portland Opera from 2012 to 2021 where he sang in the chorus as well as performed numerous small roles. Highlights include the Captain in Eugene Onegin and Paco a Muleteer in Man of La Mancha. He recently debuted as Bartolo in Le nozze di figaro with Gemma Arts.

Anders holds a Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in Music, as well as a Masters in Library and Information Science. He is currently a faculty librarian and assistant professor at Boise State University.
