Brayden Olson [Benvolio] began with Opera Idaho in the resident company in 2021, and is excited to be debuting his first mainstage role with Opera Idaho! Previous engagements with the resident company include the 2022-2023 season productions of The Barber of Seville, Macbeth, and Rusalka, as well as Opera in the Park 2021 and 2022. He graduated with his BM in Voice Performance from Boise State in 2022 under the instruction of Jeffrey Seppala, who he currently studies with. With Boise State he was able to perform the role of the Father in Hansel and Gretel and extensively studied the role of Top in Copland's The Tender Land. He is looking forward to more chorus and mainstage work with the company!
