Caitlin Carlberg graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance in 2016. She has been singing for Opera Idaho since then, performing in several opera choruses, recitals, concerts, and other events. In 2019, she performed Helmwige in BSU Opera Studio’s concert version of Wagner’s Die Walkure. In 2021 she performed in Suor Angelica at the Narnia Vocal Arts Festival in Italy. Returning to Narnia 2022, she performed the First Witch and a Warrior in Dido & Aeneas, and & Aeterna. She has performed in three different productions of Suor Angelica (2017, 2021, and 2024) and sung four different characters, including Suor Osmina, la Infermiera, Cercatrice 1, and now la Conversa 1. She covered Frasquita in Opera Idaho's 2022 production of Carmen (Bizet) and has also performed in new works as Daughter 1 in the Rabbi's Advice (Alexander), Stella in Peter Prickles (Hosefros). Caitlin is incredibly excited to participate in this current production and is grateful for everyone who supports her.
