Sarah Kelly has been singing, acting, and playing the violin in the Treasure Valley her entire life, and has loved being on stage as early as she can remember. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the College of Idaho, where she was awarded Outstanding Opera Student and Outstanding String Student. Her past Opera roles have included Nella from Gianni Schicchi, Papagena from The Magic Flute, Mabel from Pirates of Penzance, and Mrs. Ford from The Merry Wives of Windsor. Sarah has been seen in the orchestra pit before with Opera Idaho playing violin, but her first show on stage with Opera Idaho was Romeo and Juliette in the 23-24 season. While she loves Opera and studies with Annie Powell, Sarah also studies Musical Theater with Alison Linton. She has been featured in musicals such as South Pacific, Mamma Mia, Follies, The Music Man, and many others. Sarah is so excited to be a Resident Artist with Opera Idaho and is looking forward to this 24-25 season!
