Alexander Lundquist has established himself as a vocal performer over the last 20 years with groups in Boise, ID, Newport, OR and Tacoma, WA. He has performed with the Boise Philharmonic Master Chorale dating back to 2005 including select choral performances in Mendelssohn’s Magnificat, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Paul Aitken’s And None Shall Be Afraid which was performed in Carnegie Hall in 2010. Alexander has had over a dozen performances with Opera Idaho since 2010 including such accomplishments as being the first paid tenor chorus section leader in company history and the first guest chorus member for 2019’s Acis and Galatea. In 2015, he moved to Newport, OR where he was a featured soloist for the Oregon Music Educators Association and for a series of charity benefit concerts which supported local groups in the Newport area. In 2020 Alexander moved to Tacoma, WA where he performed with the Tacoma Symphony Voices. Having moved back to Boise in 2022, Alex has been in over seven productions and performances with Opera Idaho. Alexander was a featured soloist with Gemma Arts production of Handel’s Messiah in 2022 and was a featured soloist at Opera by The River in Star, ID in the Summer of 2024. The charity concerts in Newport were the inspiration for a series of charity concerts Alexander continues to produce in the Boise area from 2023-2024 for various charities in the community.
