Dave is thrilled to be back with GLOW after making his debut in 2022 with Stinney: An American Execution. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dave relocated to the upstate 7 years ago and currently resides in Greenville, SC. In addition to performing and tutoring around town, Dave is proud to serve his community as a public school teacher at GREEN Charter of Spartanburg. Dave attended Elmhurst University (IL) and obtained his bachelor’s degree in music education. After completion, he attended DePaul University in Chicago where he obtained his master’s degree in jazz pedagogy. Dave totes an impressive teaching and performing resume, including performing with the likes of The Four Tops, Mary Wilson, and NEA Jazz Masters Dee Dee Bridgewater, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, Bill Holman, and Phil Woods. Other recent credits include Under the Boardwalk (Mill Town Players), Jingle Bell Rock (Mill Town Players), I Wanna Rock (Mauldin Cultural Center), The Buddy Holly Story (Centre Stage), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Centre Stage), The Final Countdown (Centre Stage), and Summer Breezin’ (Centre Stage).
