As a professional musician in the Upstate, Sam has been playing woodwinds for over 45 years. He has been a part of pit orchestras for shows around town which include GLOW, SC Children’s Theater, Mauldin Cultural Arts and St. Joseph, among others. When not doing musical theater and other freelance activities, Sam fronts a jazz group (Blackwood - Jazz on a Stick), which plays at venues throughout the area. Sam is excited to be part of the Glow 2023 Season.
