Jenise is a Movement Artist, Intimacy Choreographer/Cultural Consultant, Storyteller, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer enthusiast from Detroit, MI. She is a collaborative artist and advocate seeking to create consent-forward work environments and productions, for all involved in the theater making process. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from Michigan State University and an MFA in Acting and Directing from the University of Missouri - Kansas City (Conservatory). Jenise has spent time choreographing movement, choreographing intimacy, and directing in Missouri (Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Unicorn Theatre, Coterie Theatre, Univ. of Missouri - KC, Univ. of Kansas, Fishtank Theatre, Kansas City Actors Theatre, Starlight Theatre), Georgia (Aurora Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre, Georgia Gwinnett College), South Carolina (Glow Lyric Theatre),  and Ohio (Cleveland Playhouse - New Ground Festival). You may also see Jenise on the stage as she is a proud member of AEA (Actor’s Equity Association).
