Bryon K. Black II (Music Director/Conductor) is delighted to be working with Glow Lyric Theatre once again. Recent credits include conducting STINNEY: AN AMERICAN EXECUTION with Glow in 2022. Bryon is a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting at the University of South Carolina, and most recently conducted the Benedict College Concert Choir. A native of Akron, OH, he previously served on the choral faculty at Kent State University. He also has extensive work in church music. Bryon’s choral compositions have been performed by several collegiate ensembles. Bryon is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and served on the Ohio Choral Directors Association Board as the Chair of the Standing Committee for Diversity.
