Kelly is excited to return to Playhouse on Park after directing THE AGITATORS last season. She has directed throughout the downtown New York theatre scene in venues such as The New Ohio, The Sheen Center, New York Theatre Workshop's 4th Street Theatre, ART NY Gural, The Dramatist Guild, the Clemente, Judson Memorial Church, The Flea, The Tank, Access, Columbia University, and LaGuardia College. Regionally, she has worked as an actor or director at Portland Center Stage; the PA, Orlando, and Utah Shakespeare Festivals; and the Walnut Street Theatre. She has directed many college productions at schools such as Lafayette College, Temple University, NYU, and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute where she is a regular guest director. She has assisted Tina Landau, Anne Bogart, and John Rando. In addition to theatre directing, Kelly is a teacher and a video director for Scholastic Book Clubs. She is a co-founder of Flux Theatre Ensemble and she received her MFA in Directing from Columbia University. kellyod.com
