James Rotondo is a set designer for opera and theatre based in Boston, Massachusetts returning to Playhouse on Park after designing FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE last season.  James and his team of collaborators were recently selected as finalists for the 2022 Tobin Director-Designer Prize and presented their design at the 2023 Opera America Conference. Recent productions include THE KNOCK at Cincinnati Opera, RIGOLETTO at Intermountain Opera Bozeman, MAKE WAY FOR DUCKLINGS at Wheelock Family Theatre, and TAKING UP SERPENTS and HOLY GROUND at the Glimmerglass Festival.
