WIL JOHNSON (Bass) began his music training in Spartanburg School District 5 under the direction of Bryan Bone and John Sizemore. He went on to graduate from North Greenville University with a BA in Music Education and studied under Dr. Darian Washington. Wil specializes in trombone but can play multiple instruments. He currently teaches band at Woodruff Middle School. He is also the assistant director of the marching band program at Woodruff High School. The Woodruff Cadets placed second at the State Band 2A Competition this year. Wil also teaches private lessons and performs regularly at several local churches. Tonight he is honored to play alongside his lifelong friend Neel Patrick.
