Mollie Wheeler is one of Neel Patrick’s biggest supporters and closest friends. She is reprising her role as a comedic extraordinaire yet again, but she is really just scared to death. She has absolutely no theatrical experience, but she has seen NP in all his splendor. Mollie is an old maid, never married, spinster kindergarten teacher from a tiny town called Startex, South Carolina. (If you are single and available, she will consider.) As a Christian, she messes up daily but is active in her church, Lyman Methodist. Mollie has taught over 680 children in the span of her 25-year career. She considers each child hers… forever.

A graduate of Winthrop University, Converse College, the University of South Carolina-Upstate, and an add-on from Clemson University, Mollie is the 2012–2013 Spartanburg County School District Five Teacher of the Year. Miss Wheeler is also a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy; this means relatively little in the world of theater. She is a perpetual student but desires to hang up her last diploma and never set foot in a college class again. Mollie is reaching a milestone soon in her age; therefore, her eyesight fails at times.
