Madelyn Adamczyk (Choreographer) is from Northeastern Pennsylvania, where she began dancing at the age of six and community theatre at eight, performing in multiple shows throughout the years. Her favorite role was performing as Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man. In May of 2024, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from The University of Akron (UA) in Ohio. While at Akron she worked with many artists from around the country such as John Heginbotham, Monica Bill Barnes, Gibney Dance, Body Traffic, Ben Needham-Wood, Christopher K. Morgan, and more. Adamczyk was a summer 2024 intern with Joffrey Ballet School as an Assistant Residence Hall Coordinator and spent three months living in New York City (attending Broadway shows whenever she got the chance!). She is currently in her first year of graduate school at UA working towards her master's degree in arts administration. She is also the graduate assistant for Joffrey Ballet School. Adamczyk thanks Rubber City Theatre (and Dane!) for giving her this opportunity to be back in a space she loves.
