Cassie Stahnke is a dancer based in Chicago, IL. She is a recent alumna of Western Michigan University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. During her time at Western Michigan University, she was a selected member of the Department of Dance’s touring ensemble, under the direction of Whitney Moncrief. Additionally, Cassie was cast to perform in works by guest artist Jackie Nowicki and faculty members Jeremy Blair and Seyong Kim. In 2021, Cassie performed her own work, Concurrent Realities, at Detroit Dance City Festival’s College Showcase. She has had additional training through summer programs including Peridance’s Blueprint Summer Intensive and Eisenhower Dance Detroit’s NewDANCEfest.
