Between the Lines is a work that was created and inspired by the architectural drawings of Frank Lloyd Wright who himself was inspired by Beethoven’s lush compositions. Wright often stated that whenever he listened to Beethoven’s music he saw movement and design. The dance illustrates a certain architectural flare with more than a hint of romanticism while drawing influences from choreographic legend Gene Hill Sagan and the classical idiom.
