Kaia Makihara is an L.A. based dancer and floorwork practitioner. He received his BFA in dance from California State University, Long Beach where he did most of his formal training. After receiving his degree, Kaia spent a year in San Francisco where he performed and toured with Robert Moses’ Kin, Kristen Damrow, Gerald Casel, and others. Most recently, he has done freelance work with JA Collective, The TL Collective, and Rebecca Lemme.
