Alexander Olosu (he/him) is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher from NC. He was originally inspired by MTV’s ABDC and has been dancing since. His dance career began with Fusion Dance Crew NCSU, where he eventually became Co-Artistic Director, and The Break-Fast Club, a breaking crew at NC State University. While acquiring his bachelor’s and master’s degrees and up till now, Olosu has been traveling across the country to participate in conventions, showcases, and competitions like Red Bull Bracket Reel, Caffeine TV’s BattleFest, Vybez Showcase ATL, Prelude Carolinas, Monsters, 36 Chambaz of Stylz, Coalescence, and numerous collegiate performances. One of Olosu’s more prominent roles in the NC dance community was as Executive Director for PRSM, a former NC-based 501(c)(3), during their third season in 2018 to 2019. Currently, Olosu spends his time directing and choreographing independent dance projects, teaching dance in the Triangle area, entering freestyle competitions across the country, and training in street/club dance styles.
