McKelynn Barber (she/her) is a movement artist from West Valley City, UT. McKelynn has had the opportunity to perform works by various companies, present dance research, and engage in numerous events linking dance to communities bridging the gaps within dance pertaining to accessibility. After graduating with a degree in dance from Utah Tech University in 2021, McKelynn served for two years with the AmeriCorps organization ArtistYear as a teaching artist at an elementary school in Moore County. In this position, she coordinated performances for students, created curriculum highlighting marginalized groups through dance with an anthropologic lens, and wrote and prepared grants to enhance the school.
