Dana Livermore (she/her) is a performance artist, choreographer, producer, and arts administrator based in Durham, NC, since 2014. She earned her BA in Dance and Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing from Hollins University. In the past, she has performed with the Barefoot Collective, ShaLeigh Danceworks, and Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre. Dana has self-produced solo works at Arcana, The Accordion Club, and Shadowbox, as well as part of the Tobacco Road Dance Productions spring dance concert, PROMPTS, and the Sanctuary Series. She is the Community Collaboration & Programs Specialist at The Carolina Theatre of Durham, where she produces the theater’s annual Dancing with the Carolina Stars fundraiser. Previously, she was the Interim Director of the North Carolina Presenter’s Consortium and was responsible for organizing and planning the 2021 ArtsMarket Conference at the Durham Convention Center. As a former intern and staff member for the American Dance Festival, filling various roles since 2011, Dana is excited to come full circle and participate in Mark Haim’s work as a dancer.
