Kathy Kaufmann is a New York City native and two time "Bessie" recipient. She has been a resident designer at the Danspace Project at St. Marks Church for over 20 years and has toured extensively throughout the world. She designs regularly for Dorrance Dance, Sally Silvers, Mina Nishimura, The Bang Group, Rebecca Stenn, Mariana Valencia, Music From the Sole, Ephrat Asherie, and Joanna Kotze. Recent projects include designs for Vicky Shick, Jordan Demetrius Lloyd, and Nami Yamamoto.
