Liz Sanford, originally from Mebane, graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Dance from UNC-Charlotte. She performed professionally with Kinetic Works and Room to Move Dance companies, as well as in musical theater productions, television, and film. She spent a combined eight seasons dancing and singing at Six Flags Over Georgia, Sesame Place, and Carowinds theme parks. Most notably, she performed around the country with two national tours of Sesame Street Live! where she originated the puppetry role of Maya Monster. Liz recently moved back to North Carolina and is enjoying teaching dance, acting, and voice to students of all ages.
