Alec Marianek is an emerging dancer and choreographer from Jacksonville, FL. He began his dance training at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts and Britney Boyd Dance Company. He later moved to Dallas, TX, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a minor in Arts Management at Southern Methodist University. His performance credits include works by Martha Graham, Adam Hougland, Pascal Rioult, Larry Keigwin, Michelle Gibson, and Brandi Coleman. In 2019, he had the opportunity to perform in Irish performance artist Amanda Coogan’s exhibit The Ladder is Always There at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, FL. Alec also toured across the country with Revel Dance Convention as a pro-reveler assistant from 2019 to 2022. He hopes to join a company after college, eventually starting his own.
