Kellye Smith is originally from Midlothian, VA, where she trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, and contemporary. She is a recent graduate of James Madison University where she received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude. While at JMU, she had the pleasure of being a member of their pre professional company called Virginia Repertory Dance Company, and she also was able to be part of works by Xiang Xu, Ricky Ruiz, Tiffanie Carson, Monique Haley, Floyd McLean Jr, and various JMU faculty. Her post graduate plans are to continue choreographing, performing, and teaching. She is so thankful to have worked with Brian over the last month and she is excited to share all of the hard work that all of the dancers put into the piece.
