JESSE OLSEN BAY (he/they) is a musician, composer, teacher, and activist. His work dwells in the intersection of sound, song, embodiment, and community organizing. He directs and performs with MINERS, an ensemble dedicated to using traditional American folk music as a springboard for embodied sonic experimentation. Jesse has received awards and support from American Composers Forum, San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music, Ucross Foundation, and the Isadora Duncan Awards, among others.
