Kristin Clotfelter is Associate Artistic Director of Barriskill Dance Theatre School, teaches dance at Duke University, and co-directs Studio C Projects, a Durham-based collaborative investigating live intersections of movement, design, and performance. She continues working collaboratively with Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre and Londs Reuter. Previous dance relationships include Studio Susan Marshall, The Metropolitan Opera, Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More, The Santa Fe Opera, and the State Theater of Kassel, Germany. Kristin has also collaborated with artists Joanna Kotze, Johannes Wieland, Mark DeChiazza, Abigail Levine, and Katie Schetlick. She received her MFA from the University of the Arts and BFA with a minor in Visual Arts from the Fordham/Ailey program.
