COURTNEY PAIGE ROSS (Guest Artist), performance artist and choreographer, is proud to call New Orleans, LA, home. Since graduating with honors from The Ailey/Fordham BFA Program, Courtney has cultivated a rich and soulful career. After having toured with Ailey II and Ron Brown's EVIDENCE/A Dance Company, she is now a performer with Camille A. Brown and Dancers. In addition to her work in the concert dance world, Courtney has also joined Jon Batiste (as a JONETTE) on the UNEASY National Tour, the Grammys, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where she was a dancer and Associate Choreographer (Choreographer/Creative Director: Jemel McWilliams). She performed on the VMAs with Beyoncé, opened for Erykah Badu at The Hollywood Bowl (with Dos Negros), graced the Metropolitan Opera stage (Porgy & Bess), and was Associate Choreographer for the Broadway revival of 1776, choreographed by Jeffrey L. Page. Alongside her performance career, Courtney is an Emotional Wellness Advocate with a certification in Social Emotional Learning facilitation, Trauma Informed Yoga, and Mental Health First Aid. Ms. Ross is also Founder/CEO of BLOOM Dance, Inc (@bloomdanceinc) a 501c3 organization with a mission to cultivate emotional wellness in underserved youth through the arts. She is the 2019 recipient of the Artie Award, presented by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC of which she is a proud member. She gives thanks to God, her family, and chosen tribe for their unwavering support!
