Maura Berry (Pfafftown, NC) received her BFA in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016. While at UNCG, she studied modern dance, ballet, and jazz and spent a semester studying dance in South Africa at the University of Cape Town. Since graduating, she has studied via classes and intensives with the Dance Project, American Dance Festival, Juxtaposition Studios, Malashock Dance, and Ninth Street Dance. She attended Impulstanz: Vienna International Dance Festival in 2023. She currently works as a barista and ophthalmic assistant in addition to dancing and enjoys performing, choreography, and mixing elements of dance to tell stories and express concepts.
