Emily Murray (she/her) grew up in Chester, NY, and has been dancing for 16 years while also competing for 13 of those years. She started her training at a small studio in her hometown and later changed to Top Tier Dance Academy when she went into high school. Her senior year she moved to North Carolina to dance as a ballet major at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and is currently pursuing her BFA in Contemporary Dance at the same institution. She has attended dance intensives at the New Jersey School of Ballet and Joffrey NYC. She has also received a number of national titles as a competition dancer.
