Tessa Rudig started dancing when she was three, training in a multitude of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, Hip-hop, tap, and fusion styles. Tessa grew up in the competition dance world in Colorado, where she trained with various industry professionals, including Adam McGaw, Karen Chuang, Chelsea Thedinga, and Janelle Ginestra. Tessa is currently pursuing a BFA in Dance and a BA in Psychology at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. She also dances for the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior dance team. This is her first year attending the American Dance Festival summer intensive. Tessa has always had a strong passion and vibrant love for dance, music, and the arts. She is overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunity to be surrounded by such knowledge and talent.
