MARISSA SCHROEDER, SHE/HER (GUEST ARTIST), is a contemporary dance artist with a passion for both performance and choreography. Schroeder graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Dance and Choreography in 2024. During her time at VCU, she was selected to perform work by choreographers such as Christian Von Howard, Eric Rivera, Dr. Kate Sicchio, Trebien Pollard, and Stephanie Martinez. She has trained at multiple professional programs including American Dance Festival, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago Intensive, and B12 Dance Festival. During these training programs, she had the opportunity to learn repertoire by choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Kyle Abraham, and Amy Hall Gardener. Additionally, she worked collaboratively with and performed work by Ben Wright in Berlin, Germany, and performed repertoire by Azure Barton in Chicago, Illinois.
