John Jeanneret (Woodwinds) (he/him) is an accomplished performer, composer, and music educator. A native of Central New York, he is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, the University of North Texas, and is completing a doctorate in music education at Boston University. In addition to his career as a professional musician working in jazz and commercial genres, John has also performed with over 60 regional and national musical theatre productions as a woodwind specialist. His jazz compositions and arrangements have been played by high schools, university groups, and professional ensembles. John is also a full-time music educator, teaching band, woodwind lessons, and a high school jazz ensemble. He and his wife, Kristina, live in Syracuse.
