David DiGennaro (Trombone) is very excited to be playing Newsies at The REV this summer. He works for Homer Central Schools where he has taught high school concert band for the past twenty-seven years. He also conducts the pit band there, is marching band director, and is music coordinator for the district. Dave attended Syracuse University and Mannes College on full merit scholarships where he earned his BM in Music Education and his MM in Music Performance respectively. David maintains an active private lesson studio and performs as often as he can. He plays regularly at The REV and Syracuse Stage and has also performed with the national touring companies of My Fair Lady, Wicked, The Lion King, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Book of Mormon, Chicago, and many others. He has also shared the stage with Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Natalie Cole, The Four Tops, and The Temptations. He is on call as a trombonist with every professional ensemble in central New York.
