Rick Peña is  an award winning costume and puppet designer as well as a performer and puppeteer.  He has proudly been involved with  Slow Burn Theatre since their first production of Batboy: The Musical in 2010. He was previously the resident costumer at American Heritage School in Plantation until coming back to Slow Burn in 2022 as their full time resident costume designer/costume coordinator/costume shop manager/costume builder. His work has been seen within the TriCounty area since 2006.   A native to South Florida and the Miami area, Rick has a degree in theater from Florida International University.
