Olivia Guthier is a junior Instrumental Music Education major at MTSU. She participates in Wind Ensemble, Flute Choir, Concert Band, and Pep Band. Olivia is currently a drum major of the Band of Blue and serves as a senator in the Student Advisory Council for the School of Music. This is her third semester participating in Concert Band where she has played various instruments. She has traveled to Chicago, Illinois and Phoenix, Arizona with the MTSU Flute choir for the National Flute Association. The MTSU Flute Choir will be attending the convention again this August in Atlanta, Georgia. Olivia has also traveled to Costa Rica to perform several concerts around the country alongside local musicians and is preparing to travel to China in May for a similar experience. Outside of music, Olivia enjoys cooking, spending time with friends, and crafting.
