Elisabeth Jackson is a passionate clarinetist, teacher, and music director from Nashville, Tennessee, who has been immersed in the local music scene for fifteen years. She is currently a graduate teaching assistant at MTSU, where she is working to complete a master’s in clarinet performance.
Jackson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumental Music Education from Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee, where she was the recipient of a full-tuition music scholarship. Elisabeth has taken on various music directing roles at Carpenters Middle School in East Tennessee and Actor’s Point Theater Company in Nashville. She currently teaches private clarinet lessons at Dow Street Community Music School in Murfreesboro.
With a deep love for teaching, her philosophy centers around the belief that anyone can learn to play or sing, advocating for universal access to music education. Through her performances and teaching, Jackson strives to deepen the world’s appreciation and understanding of music and its abilities to foster communities, connection, and enrich lives.
