The Middle Tennessee State University Brass Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Michael Arndt and Dr. Reed Thomas, is an ensemble that includes trumpets, horns, trombones, euphoniums, tubas, and percussion. Membership is open to any university brass player via audition and instructor approval. Seating is rotated from piece-to-piece, and instrumentation varies, giving each composition a realization best representing each composer's intent.  The group meets every semester and presents 1-3 concerts each semester.
