Belle Nuit, ô d'amour
Jacques Offenbach

The Tales of Hoffmann, last opera written by Offenbach before his death, consists of three short stories based on three short stories by E.T.A. Hoffmann. This duet takes place at the beginning of Act III with Nicklausse, Hoffmann’s friend, and Giulietta, a beautiful courtesan singing together at a party.
