Andy Roninson is a musical theatre writer and music director in New York City. He is the recipient of the Jonathan Larson Grant for his songwriting. He is the creator/co-writer of the first-of-its-kind ten-minute musical podcast, Take a Ten. Episodes of the podcast have won awards, been published, and had productions around the world. His musical Soviet Rebel Girl, based on the experiences of his refugee parents, had its concert premiere in Manhattan in 2023. His latest musical, The Real Kyle McCarren, was developed at the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat in 2024 and was just awarded the 2025 Triple R Award.
