Gumaro Gomez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Houston and a Master’s degree in Music Performance from Morehead State University. He is an experienced trumpet player and music educator, having performed with numerous regional symphonies, professional theaters, and was a member of the orchestra for the US/North American Broadway tour of Little Women. Gumaro also has an extensive background in band education, having served as Director of Bands at several private schools. He is excited to be part of this season at SSMT.
