Bethany’s artistic journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Technology from the University at Buffalo, where she not only honed her craft but also garnered recognition, earning nominations for Outstanding Costume Design and Outstanding Set Design at the local Artie Awards. These early successes fueled her passion, leading her to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Design from the University of Iowa, where she delved deeper into her craft.

As a visiting assistant professor of scenic design at the University of Iowa, Kasperek imparted her wealth of knowledge and boundless enthusiasm to budding designers, shaping the future of the industry with her unique perspective.
