Kaitlyn Flebbe (soprano) is a senior voice performance major at Shenandoah University in Virginia, where she studies with Dr. Fotina Naumenko and Dr. Chelsea Cushman. She recently performed in Gdańsk, Poland, at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music. This past July, Flebbe appeared as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Weimar, Germany. Earlier in the year, she performed in the chorus of Falstaff, and in 2024, she sang in the chorus of Acis and Galatea while also serving as assistant opera director for Shenandoah’s full-stage production of Moscow, Cheryomushki. As part of the 2024 opera scenes program, Flebbe portrayed both Susanna and Barbarina in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. Her additional operatic credits include performances in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the contemporary work Caged Birds, featuring music by Missy Mazzoli and Santa Ratniece. Flebbe has also performed with the Shenandoah's Conservatory Choir in productions of The Seagull and From Darkness to Light.
