Aleah Lemons, mezzo-soprano, is a second-year graduate student at Shenandoah University, pursuing a Master of Music in Pedagogy – Voice. In 2024, she earned her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Georgia Southern University. Though this is Lemons' Shenandoah University opera debut, she is no stranger to the stage and has performed roles such as Mother Marie of Incarnation in Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites, Jonas Fogg in Sondheim's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Samuel in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance. Lemons extends her deepest gratitude to the creative team and cast for their support and dedication in bringing this complex and exhilarating story to life. She dedicates this performance to her dad, family and friends whose belief in her is what guides her forward.
