Stella Rose Hoyt
Rona Lisa Peretti

Stella Rose Hoyt is a first-year student at Shenandoah and is honored to be making their main stage debut. Some theatrical credits include Fun Home at Victory Gardens Theatre (Small Alison), The Sound of Music at Beverly Arts Center (Liesl Von Trapp), The Play That Goes Wrong at Theatre at the Center (Annie), Miracle on 34th Street at Theatre at the Center (Susan Walker) and Mean Girls at The Drama Group (Regina George). Hoyt graduated from Homewood Flossmoor High School, where she was nominated for the 2024 and 2025 IHSMTA best actress award for her performance as Little Sally in Urinetown and Delilah McPhee in Between the Lines. Hoyt was a three-year cast member of the All-State Production, being a featured dancer in Shrek, leading her junior year production of She Kills Monsters as Agnes Evans, and closing out her All-State Journey, as Emma Nolan in The Prom. Hoyt has been in Speech for four years, and was the 2024 and 2025 IHSA Speech State Champion in Dramatic Interpretation, becoming one of the most decorated speech competitors in Illinois history. Along with her passion for art and performing, she has so much passion for helping others feel seen and heard. Besides theatre, Hoyt loves to write music, play the piano and guitar and create videos for social media. She also one day hopes to publish her own book. Hoyt would like to thank her family for their endless support and encouragement. She could not have done anything of this without you.
