Robyn Hart Schroth Dance Education Scholarship

Kaitlyn Kiefer is from Worcester, Massachusetts. She is a current junior Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance major at Shenandoah University. Currently, she is working on her artistic and academic goals. At Shenandoah, she has trained with Tiffanie Carson, Maurice Fraga, Daniel Padierna, Jessie Li, Lindsay Browning, Ben Howard,  Erica Helm and Mary Robare. She has also participated in multiple faculty and student ensembles. Kiefer’s training in dance was from the Cathy Taylor School of Dance in Auburn, Massachusetts. In high school, Kiefer trained in ballet to perform in ballet competitions, The Youth American Grand Prix and The Connecticut Classic. When Kiefer is not in class or rehearsal, you will find her at the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy teaching Jazz 1 and Adult Jazz, as well as demonstrating for the Lyrical 3 class. She loves being able to share her knowledge with her students. Kiefer is here to work on becoming a professional dancer and choreographer. She wants to go more of the musical theatre path. She is hoping to do Broadway and/or national tours, and is looking into cruise ships and whatever jobs/auditions she can get her hands on. Kiefer’s goals are to have a successful and long career. She doesn’t know where she is going to end up, but in the end, it doesn’t matter as long as she is still doing what she is passionate about.

Robyn Hart Schroth Dance Education Scholarship

“I am so honored to have received the Robyn Hart Schroth Dance Education Scholarship. Getting this scholarship has been so special to me. I have always loved doing community service, and being able to mix that with what I love has been so special. I love being a dance teacher because I get to share my love and knowledge with young kids and teens. It makes me feel so happy and blessed when I see my kids each week. I am becoming a better dance teacher because of my class and learning more from all my colleagues at the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy.”
