DeFrees is the director of MADE Dance Collective, a company that she founded and choreographs for, with dancers in the DMV. She thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration and aims to further her passion for dance performance and enhanced production value. She is grateful to have been invited back to Shenandoah to work with the first-year dancers and return to the place that helped shape her artistic journey.
