Samantha "Acadian" Hicks is a junior theatre design and production major with an emphasis in costume design. Their role as an associate costume designer (previously working on Monty Python’s Spamalot and The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee) was designing the costumes for Hansel and Gretel. This is their first show where initial sketches (started in January) have been able to evolve into two, fully-built costumes. The next project coming up for Hicks will be co-costume designing Shakespeare in Love in the fall, as a capstone project.
