Julie Sisk is a movement artist who grew up in Bel Air, Maryland, and began dancing at the age of five. She danced at E-Street Dance Academy under the direction of Amy Ferrigno from 2018 to 2024 training in ballet, contemporary, jazz, modern, tap and hip-hop. At this institution, she was taught by Ferrigno, Lauren Carnesi Daniels, Christian Richards and Doug Green. Sisk graduated from the Notre Dame Preparatory School in 2024, where she studied dance from Serene Webber and Nadia Letnaunchyn. There she studied numerous styles of dance including contemporary, ballet, modern and jazz. She also collaboratively choreographed multiple pieces for the annual spring concert. During her senior year she completed an independent study in dance where she choreographed two introductory level pieces for the Foundations of Dance I class. She has performed in the Kinetic Canvas series directed by Lauren Carnesi Daniels during the summers of 2019 to 2025. Currently, Sisk attends Shenandoah University where she is training to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, learning from Maurice Fraga, Erica Helm, Ben Howard, Angela Dice Nguyen and Tiffanie Carson. She is also a current member of MA.DE Dance Collective.
